Health Policy

Policy Statement:

At Vursiya, the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and community are paramount. While there is currently no mandatory vaccination requirement, we strongly recommend that all eligible employees receive the appropriate vaccinations, including but not limited to COVID-19, to protect their health and that of their colleagues.

Recommendations and Precautions:

COVID-19 Vaccination:

We encourage all eligible employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccination to reduce the risk of infection and promote a safer workplace environment. While not mandatory, employees are strongly encouraged to follow public health guidelines and local regulations regarding COVID-19 vaccinations.

Seasonal and Preventive Vaccinations:

In addition to COVID-19 vaccination, employees are encouraged to stay up-to-date with their routine vaccinations, including seasonal flu shots and other preventive immunizations. Keeping these vaccinations current helps maintain a healthy workplace.

Hygiene and Safety Protocols:

Regardless of vaccination status, all employees are expected to adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, such as regular handwashing, wearing masks if required by local regulations or company policy, and maintaining physical distance where possible.

Confidentiality and Respect:

Medical Information:

Any medical information, including vaccination status, is confidential. Supervisors and colleagues are not permitted to inquire about an employee's vaccination status. Employees are encouraged to keep their vaccination status private unless they choose to disclose it voluntarily.

Respect and Understanding:

We respect each individual's decision regarding vaccinations. Employees who choose not to get vaccinated for any reason will not face discrimination, and their employment status will not be affected. It's important to be understanding and supportive of one another's choices regarding vaccinations.

Flexible Work Arrangements:

Employees who are not vaccinated or who have health concerns regarding in-person work are encouraged to discuss flexible work arrangements with HR. Accommodations, such as remote work options or adjusted schedules, may be considered on a case-by-case basis to support the well-being of all employees.

Review and Updates:

This policy is subject to change based on updated guidelines from health authorities and government regulations. Vursiya will continue to monitor the situation and adjust our policies as necessary to ensure the safety and health of our employees.
By following these recommendations and respecting one another's choices, we contribute to a healthier and safer workplace environment for everyone at Vursiya.
